Bill 10 Abolish the Private Car Bill Introduced

Representative Campbell of Kansas proposes a bill to ban ownership of private cars used in interstate commerce. The act targets ventilator, refrigerator, oil or tank cars and restricts rail carriers from contracting for such shipments. Mrs Benedict Wins Suit Against Father in Law

In Brooklyn federal court the jury awarded Mrs Virginia Benedict $11943.75 against E C Benedict banker, for stocks her husband Frederick Benedict bought with her funds before his 1902 death. The stock was placed in a safe vault, and Benedict claimed it belonged to the firm BE C Benedict & Co. General Benjamin F Tracy and John L Hill argued the case.
