Cornelius Jay Kane once of the Benjamin Steel Company of Buffalo and a prominent Pittsburgh iron dealer died shortly after midnight at Mercy Hospital. He was known as a leading scrap-iron man and head of the J. B. Jones Steel Company. Police seek unknown persons who brought him to the hospital and fled.
