White Way to Depots Sign Up Drives Local Fundraising
About 1800 dollars has been subscribed by property owners for the white way to the two railroad stations along Second North and First South Streets. The committee expects several hundred more soon and a council levy of about 500 dollars may be needed, with parks along the routes. The council also arranged coal bids, repair funding for Bentzin bridge, and use of a new street roller for county roads with Carl Stone likely to operate it.

Blue Earth Boy On Way To Wild West

He had run away last Wednesday to see the world he saw in moving pictures, riding freight trains to Lake Crystal St James and New Ulm before agreeing to return home with Deputy Sheriff Stevener.
