Brown County District Court opened Tuesday with eighteen civil and two criminal cases on the calendar. Foremost are two Frank Geschwind cases from Sleepy Eye, plus grand jury indictments against Peter Martinka and Wenzel Lamp for second degree grand larceny. Jos Whester as Marlowe and William Wicherski as Hastings formed a strong cast with Gisela Vedder and Albert Fritech Bir Chas Marlowe in minor roles. Teachers and troupe leaders received thanks for supervision and rehearsal efforts. the orchestra provided fine intermission entertainment.
