New Ulm Soldier Missing in Action
The missing sailor is Alvin H Schlumpberger, aged 19, son of Mr and Mrs Schlumpberger. He enlisted in the Marines last year the day after Thanksgiving at St Paul and served at Paris Island, Quantico, then shipped to France on April 1. The family last heard from him five weeks ago and hope for word of his whereabouts and safety.

Litigation Terminated With All June July Trials Settled

At the last annual school meeting a motion passed to keep polls open from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. For the upcoming election scheduled for Saturday July 10 the polls will follow the same hours giving voters ample opportunity to cast ballots.
