Suffocated in a bran bin at Eagle Mill accident
John Huhn, a 56 year old Eagle Mill veteran, was engulfed in bran while standing on an iron ladder pushing bran toward a spout. Rescuers freed him too late. he died a few minutes later. Embezzlement Charge Nets Minneapolis Teller
Adolph Stamwitz a National Bank of Commerce teller in Minneapolis has been arrested by Deputy U S Marshal Rich on embezzlement charges. He has served the bank for twenty one years and a number of irregularities have been noted by government bank examiners. Stamwitz denies culpability and says the situation may prove only a bookkeeping error once fully examined.

Remains of August Duevel Brought to City for Interment
The aged New Ulm pioneer August Duevel, born October 12, 1822 in Lesen-Wittenburg, Germany, died earlier and was interred in the city cemetery after a return from Minneapolis. Capt. Albert Steinhauser delivered the principal address at the grave as Mrs. Duevel accompanied the remains.
