Cahoon Buried After Fatal Bridge Attempt
The remains of Lovell Cahoon, killed in a reckless nighttime attempt to cross the Little Cottonwood railroad bridge, were buried Friday afternoon in a city cemetery lot bought by his daughters. Cahoon had deserted them when they were children.

Grand Lodge Choice Narrowly Goes to Mankato in 1908
Mankato won the bid to host the next grand lodge of Herman Sons in January 1908 with eighty six votes while Minneapolis polled six and St. Paul sight.
