Body of local farmhand found in field near Lafayette

Bail Money Returned After Dropped Charge

Friederich Koos, a 27 year old native of Krackylts Ruegen Island Pommerania, arrived with stories of four years in active duty on the Russian front during the war. He traveled via Berlin to New York aboard the Manchuria, landed after delays at Castle Garden, then to New Ulm with aunt Mrs Theel. New Ulm Brown County Fair Plans Big 1921 Event
Preparations are underway for the 1921 Brown County Fair at the New Ulm Fair Grounds with New Ulm and Children's Day moved to Wednesday. The program features a flying circus, auto polo, baseball, Ferris wheel, free acts, and $1,500 worth of fireworks for night shows. Merchants will give away about $5,000 in merchandise to visitors using a gate token system. Reserved stalls for cattle, horses, and hogs are filling up, with Secretary William Lindemans predicting full occupancy.
