Bold Hold Up At Cottonwood County Farm
Two men manhandled Albert Johnson and his elderly mother at the Johnson farm near Comfrey Minnesota on Monday night. They looted Confederate currency eight to nine dollars in silver a watch and jewelry before forcing Johnson to drive them to Mountain Lake twelve miles away. Police arrested the suspects John and Jack Jones of Missouri at Mountain Lake and recovered the loot and three revolvers. They are held in Windom county jail.

An audit by Arthur C. Hartman shows the city carries a net overdraft of 121 722.05 across funds with only sewer, park and public cemetery in the black.
