Newlyweds Killed in Harrisburg Road Crash Near Gettysburg

Kenneth Connor 18 of Fairmont West Virginia and Clara Farr 19 of Keisterville Pennsylvania died in a car wreck seven miles north of Gettysburg on the Harrisburg road near Tein Bridges. Connor died at hospital Monday morning and Farr died shortly after arrival. The couple had wed secretly Saturday afternoon at St John’s Lutheran Church Hagerstown Maryland before their weekend trip.

Woodland In Franklin Township To Be Auctioned

Pursuant to a writ from the Court of Common Pleas of Adams County the 14 acre woodland in Franklin Township will be sold at public auction Saturday June 10 at 2 PM at Gettysburg courthouse. Property owned by Edward J. Naugie and Annie M. Naugie. Sheriff John C. Wible to conduct sale with ten percent payable at purchase.

Inquest Ordered After Uniontown Area Crash

Dr. Crist gave accident information to County Coroner Dr. Edgar A. Miller on Sunday. An inquest into Mrs. Connor's death was set for later in the week. Mrs. Connor was taken to Keisterville by an undertaker. Both cars suffered about 400 dollars in damage and were hauled to Gettysburg. Connor's body went to Fairmount on Monday. Families plan a joint funeral for Mr. and Mrs. Connor to be buried side by side.
