Woman Injured in Littlestown Car Crash

Dorothy Hockensmith 31 of 213 West High Street New Oxford was reported satisfactory at Warmer Hospital after an auto accident in Littlestown that fractured a neck vertebra. Arnold Smith of New Oxford, the driver, was treated and discharged. his vehicle struck a parked car around 3 o clock Tuesday night. Pleads Guilty On Two Driving Counts

Melvin Byers of York Springs pleaded guilty to a two count hit run case tied to an accident on February 24 that damaged vehicles belonging to Lawrence Sheads of Chambersburg and Earl Pyle of Breckenridge Street. Byers cited a coughing fit for the swerving incident.

Two Injured In Hanover Accident After Sideswipe

Two people suffered minor injuries in a two car crash in Hanover Monday night at 10 15. John H Kuhn 17 and Ralph Hartlaub 22 treated and released at Hanover Hospital. Patrick K Stambaugh 17 and Clodie Mudge 16 uninjured. Kuhn said he fell asleep as his car struck Stambaughs, then hit a curb a pillar and Bechtels terrace. Man seeks damages over home built on Reynolds property

Kenneth A. Yohe of Hanover files a suit in assumpsit against Oscar C. Reynolds and Sarah E. Reynolds of East Berlin seeking 2672.88 dollars for a four room house built on Reynolds land starting August 1950. He claims his wife Mary K Yohe led him to build and that the title was to be conveyed, which never happened. He seeks reimbursement of 1957.13 dollars cash and 579 hours labor.

Man Killed in Lincoln Highway Crash near New Oxford

Gerald Joseph Hawn 32 of New Oxford died after a collision with an auto driven by Roy R. Reedy Jr. 32 of Gettysburg one mile west of New Oxford on the Lincoln Highway. Coroner Dr. G. Crist ruled death due to a fractured skull and crushed chest. Hawn died en route to Hanover Hospital. An inquest will be held.
