A charge of assault and battery against George Kondrat of Tyrone township was withdrawn by Prosecutrix Eugenia Folack at a preliminary hearing before Justice John Shearer. Kondrat agreed to reimburse Folack, her mother Nellie Svalek and a sister for travel expenses estimated at $53.75 to Detroit.

Adams County Bankers Discuss Dividend Policies
The Adams County Bankers Association met at the Hotel Gettysburg on Tuesday evening to discuss banking practices and policies including dividends. Banks and other industries were cutting dividends to conserve cash, a move not yet acted on as discussions remained informal. George Miller proprietor of the City Market Gettysburg demonstrated top marksmanship by winning the state Class C championship in Allentown shooting 146 of 150 targets. He then and with Miss Alice Crothers and Dave Wingert entered a triple tie. in the playoff Miller hit 73 of 75 birds to claim the title while the runner up managed 65.
