The Industrial Committee of the Chamber of Commerce announced the purchase of about eight acres south of New Oxford along Hanover Street for an industrial park. The buyers were Ray Doyle for 4000 dollars and Raphael Smith for 1000 dollars, with a 90 day settlement. Funds come from the Industrial Fund, with the rest borrowed from Farmers and Merchants Bank.
