Court Hears of Extortion Plot in Local hearing
The district attorney and judge concluded a hearing on an extortion plot tied to a deer killing case in South Mountains. Glenn Nintle was found not guilty of aiding in the illegal deer kill after testimony was deemed not credible. The court ordered Nintle to pay costs. The session also set juror lists for the August criminal term and parole decisions were announced for two Harrisburg men. A separate petition sought higher weekly support for Ruth Meligakes against Nicholas Meligakes, returnable July 17.
