Private Goodman and York County teacher exams announced
Private John A. Goodman of Philadelphia recounts his service in the 7th and 18th Infantry in France, with injuries and honorable discharge at Cape May. York County sets 1918 teacher exams starting June 12 under C. W. Stine, with cigarette smoking disqualifying applicants. Mayors warned of a noiseless Fourth of July avoiding firecrackers and pistols.
