Abbottstown Fire Company elects officers and updates
At the monthly meeting Earl J. Haverstick and George F. Moul were elected members. Officers were re elected except secretary. William P. Baker was elected to the secretary post. Bills totaling 85.90 were paid from the Memorial Day festival with net proceeds of 80. Rev A H Smith of Hoffman Orphanage will be treated in Clifton Springs sanatorium for months due to health decline. Master James Sauerwein from Clear Dale had adenoids and tonsils removed at Frederick City Hospital.
