Adams County youths sentenced on larceny counts
Judge C Sheely sentenced two Adams County youths for larceny and related offenses after they admitted stealing from Gettysburg High School and from Herbert Sport. One youth received an industrial school sentence, another an infinite term at the Huntington reform school. Additional cases included a deer case appeal and a divorce exception ruling.

Plan to Enlarge St Josephs Parochial School and Convent
Plans to enlarge St Josephs parochial school at Bonneauville to hold 150 children and to build a four sister convent were approved by Bishop George L Leech. A 15 foot addition will convert the first floor into an auditorium and the second floor into four large classrooms. The new convent will be on the east side of the church lawn with a separate chapel. The project aims for a September 15 opening. bid submissions will follow architect specifications.

Injured as Car Strikes Bridge in Hanover Area
W H Preuss of 60 21 East Middle Street Hanover was badly damaged in a head on collision with a bridge wall on the Gettysburg Hanover road. He suffered a cut over the right eye needing eight stitches and a gash on the left knee with six stitches. Police investigator K Yemgrow cited that Byron Hopkins attempted to pass Harman when Preuss swung out to pass Hopkins causing the crash near Kint farm about 3 10.
