The New Oxford Industrial Development Corporation gained formal cooperation from the borough council and municipal authority to attract new industry. At a 25 attendee session led by H S Griffin the agreement was approved and Earl Klunk thanked officials. The group, aided by the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority, is negotiating with a highly desirable industry while press disclosure was delayed pending further talks.

Bermudian Springs Board Votes For School Merger

Traffic lights planned at Cross Keys project to begin Monday
An announcement after a Cross Keys meeting says construction to erect traffic signals at Routes 30 and 94 will start Monday. The Riegelmeier Company of Harrisburg will install the lights with power cables and posts, while local officials add curbs and regulated entrances for nearby businesses. A Franklin County native, he taught in the New Oxford area for 43 years retiring in 1952. He belonged to St Pauls United Church of Christ New Oxford and local clubs. Funeral today at 2 pm at Fred F Feiser Funeral Home New Oxford with Rev John Z Martin officiating burial in New Oxford Cemetery.
