David J. Riley, 45, of Hanover, pled guilty to operating a vehicle while intoxicated at arraignment before Justice of the Peace John C. Shearer. He remained in $500 bail for court after being arrested on the Hanover road en route to Gettysburg. Riley said he picked up a hitchhiker who offered a drink, who then disappeared when officers approached, leaving him to face the charge.
