Bentz Pleads Guilty in Hit-and-Run Case

Fred L. Bentz 18 of Spring Grove pleaded guilty and posted bail after a hearing before Justice John W Dubs on a hit-and-run driving charge. Prosecutor Private W I Banzhaf said Bentz’s car sideswiped J H Topper’s auto on the Hanover Carlisle pike near Mehring garage on November 18 and left the scene.

Auto Mishap Ends With $10 Fine After Pass Attempt

A collision at the Gettysburg Carlisle and Bendersville Aspers roads left two cars with minor damage. Dr George A Rader of Fort Meade Maryland paid a $10 motor code fine after authorities Charged him with making a bad pass following a near pass of Charlotte M Walhay Gardners R 2 as she began a left turn. Divorce libel notice in Adams County Pennsylvania

Lillian Myers Weaver has filed a divorce libel in the Court of Common Pleas of Adams County against George Kedge Weaver. The April term 1939 case No. 98 prays a divorce on grounds of willful and malicious desertion and cruel treatment.
