17th Firemen's Conclave Program Detailed in Littlestown

Two Cars Collide Near Hanover Damages Minimal
Two cars were damaged in a collision near Hanover when Curvin Kline backing toward a curb was struck by a passing car driven by Harry Swope. No injuries occurred and Officer George Harleman investigated with no charges filed. Damage to both cars did not exceed ten dollars.

Robbers Take $86 From Blue Ridge Oil Office
Amateur safe crackers entered the Blue Ridge Oil company Seven Stars office Friday night or Saturday morning and escaped with 86 dollars in cash. Floyd J. Kump and John Sharrah, Cashtown residents, discovered the burglary at 6 10 Saturday morning. State police at Gettysburg were notified and began the investigation.

Thieves Loot Warehouse Safe After Forced Break-In
Several windows were forced, a rear east window pane was smashed allowing access to the warehouse. Intruders used a sledge to force open a small office safe after cash, including one twenty, three tens, several fives and many ones, were taken. The getaway left a sledge at the office door and exited via a rear garage door.
