Oil and gas drilling outpaces 1980 in New Mexico

Gallup Summer Youth Program funded after offer

Gallup Community Services planned cancellation last week but won approval for a $1,600 sponsor gift from Gallup Sales owners Reed and Cecil Ferrari. The funds cover gym rental and a supervisor while meals shift to a canteen with 25 cent hamburgers and 10 cent hot dogs. The program, in its fifth year, serves 45 to 60 youths daily and will run June 15 to August 7 with trips near Gallup.

Gallup crash injures three drivers at 66 Avenue intersection
