A swarm of bees formed a wandering colony above a maple in front of Dr Tierney's residence as townsfolk watched. Amos Hershey, experienced with bees, retrieved an empty hive, captured the cluster, and prepared to place it inside the box as onlookers saw the bees react to the disturbance.
