Wire theft disrupts three circuits near New Holland
E S Frankhouser manager of the Enterprise Telephone company reports the theft of about 450 feet of wire from poles south of New Holland. The loss disabled three circuits until repair and the wires show nicked ends from cut with old pliers, indicating pole climbers were involved.

John E. Metzler fifty two of Manheim died at 3 p m Tuesday at the American Oncologic Hospital Philadelphia from a complication after an eight day illness. He was a farmer and a member of Erisman s Mennonite church. He is survived by his wife Ada Rissler a son Paul R two daughters Ethel and Helen, six grandchildren, a brother and a sister. Funeral services were set for Saturday at 1 30 p m with church services at 2 p m at Erisman s Mennonite church and interment in the adjoining cemetery.
