Morgantown Santa Arrives by Plane for Kiddies Party
About 250 children gathered at the Morgantown fire hall on Saturday for a first annual Kiddies Christmas Party. Santa arrived by airplane piloted by Emory Stoltzfus and announced plans to use a flying machine in future visits if weather allows. Bonnie Brownell’s Kiddie Revue performed, and the fire company organized transport for children without means to attend.

Noah L Nolt 73 Dies at Home Near Groffdale Church
Noah L Nolt, seventy three, died at 9 30 a m Wednesday of a cerebral hemorrhage at his home near the Groffdale Mennonite church after about a week of illness. He directed the Ephrata National Bank for forty six years and the Enterprise Telephone Company since 1901. He leaves his wife Luzetta L Groff Nolt a son Harlan G of Bareville two sisters and one brother five grandchildren and is survived by a large extended family. Funeral services will be held at 2 p m Saturday at the Groffdale Mennonite church with interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Mrs Zerbe 87 Dies at Bowmansville Home
Mrs William Zerbe age 87 dies at 2 30 am Wednesday at the Bowmansville home of her son John Brendle from old age infirmities. She was daughter of William Wann and Mary Musser Wann and was twice married. Survivors include her husband and two sons John and Emery Brendle of Bowmansville, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She belonged to the Bowmansville Lutheran church. Private services will be held at the late home Saturday afternoon with services in the Lutheran and Reformed church at Bowmansville at 2 pm. Interment follows in the adjoining cemetery.
