Crash Kills Wampum Man Ronald Harding On Pa 18
Ronald E. Harding 28 of Wampum RD 2 was killed yesterday afternoon when his motorcycle struck a Mohawk school bus on Pa 18 at Vance Road in North Beaver Township. The accident occurred at 3 PM and he died at 4 45 PM at Jameson Memorial Hospital. The bus driver John Kasnierczyn RD 7 signaled to turn. the bus carried 21 passengers and was not injured.

Inflation Edges Up in April on Gas Tax Rise
The Consumer Price Index rose 0.6 percent in April led by a 1.1 percent jump in transportation due to a 5 cent gas tax increase.
