A fierce storm swept northeast county Tuesday night with hail over two inches. East Brook and Harlansburg suffered extensive damage to roofs, windows, and outbuildings. Livestock losses included chickens and six pigs swept by a gully. Damage runs into thousands, area similar to the August 1932 storm but stronger.
