Smoke pours from the large stack at the Pennsylvania Power plant in West Pittsburg after a wood drying fire started in the boiler last week. Robert Yingling and Walter Dever are credited with starting the fire as insulation dries. Work includes laying red quarry tile in the boiler room and preparatory steps for a 4000 V transmission line to the Gerda substation.
