Nesbit W. Ramsey aged 76 of 919 Maryland Avenue dies. James C. McClymonds age 82 from Butler is recorded. Mrs. Alice R. McConahy, 15, Wampum, R. D. 2 is listed in the notice.
Mrs Elizabeth J White of West Btate street was triumphantly elected president of the Quota Slubs International at the Davenport Ia meeting. Dr Bela Emerson and Miss Catherina Olney withdrew in favor of White. Dr Mabel Palmer, retiring Davenport president, noted for Oak Ridge Home opening.
Greensburg Pa June 30 Auditor General Edward Martin newly elected chairman of the Republican state committee formally launched the 1928 campaign urging voters to back experienced men and Republican principles. He warned Republicans not to underestimate Governor Al Smith and Tammany Hall, calling the Democratic platform vague. Continued on page five.
