Pickets tour New Castle as water workers protest
Pickets traveled to New Castle on Ellwood Road drawing support from passersby. Pattinato said water company staff expressed sympathy and urged drivers and mail carriers not to cross the picket line while negotiations continue. The company cites a May 17, 2011 contract expiry and a June 9 wage increase as part of its offer, and denies a lockout.

Township pays watchdog $102000 to settle suit
