The bride, daughter of the late Lewis and Josephine Cunningham of Neshannock Township, wore a white satin gown with a sequined bodice and cathedral train, escorted by her son Matthew Ross. The groom, son of Bobby and Alma Cantrell of Uniontown, Pa., was supported by best man Mike Lynn of Portersville. The couple honeymooned at Presque Isle and Philadelphia. The bride, a nurse from Sharon, and the groom, a graduate, mark a union rooted in family with attendants including Heidi Michaels, Maggie Matthews, and Sarah Cantrell.

Gene and Pauline Wright of Sun City Center Florida marked their golden anniversary with family and friends on May 27 at the Sun City Center Inn. Married May 25 1950 at St Joseph the Worker Church in New Castle they later lived in St Petersburg from 1957 to 1993. They are retired from General Telephone in Florida and active in numerous clubs and volunteer work in their retirement community.
