Dedicate Service Flag At St Marys Parish

St Marys parish will dedicate a service flag next Sunday afternoon June 28 at 3 pm. A parade with civic and military escort is planned with about two thousand congregants expected. Five Cent Fare Hike Proposed for Sharon Line Routes

The Ma honing and Shenango Railway and Light Company subsidiaries file for higher passenger rates between New Castle and Lowellville and New Castle and Hubbard with the Public Service Commission in Harrisburg. If granted for one day notice, fares rise July 18 to 30 cents between New Castle and Lowellville, with five to fifteen cent increases at intermediate points and Harbor Bridge, New Bedford, and Hubbard. Commutation tickets stay in use with reduced per-ride costs.
