District to hire six new posts with $300000 budgets
DiMuccio says about 300000 will cover six new positions once filled and notes the need wasn’t in the budget. He expects funds within the current budget to cover the hires as a 1993 bond refinancing saves about 100000 in 1998 99. He favors reducing class size over new buildings and insists the spend is prudent.
