New Castle Praised by History Channel Race Participants
Participants in the History Channel Great Race spoke highly of New Castle during a lunch stop at the Farone Building. Nebraska team Cornhuskers driver Roland Saltzman and owner/navigator Lawrence V. Lichti, both of Shickley, Neb., praised the turnout and meal while noting weather challenges. Spectators requested autographs as the event neared Franklin and Olean, with other teams and sponsors from Murdo and Fairport also present.
