Tanner remains in county jail amid potential state prison transfer
Brian D. Tanner, former Shenango Township secretary treasurer, sentenced April 5 to 2 1/2 to 5 years for theft, but remains in Lawrence County jail. A state transfer for classification and service could occur, yet a July hearing on forfeiture of his $449,000 restitution house is delayed, keeping him jailed and delaying his move to a state facility in Pittsburgh.
