Fatally Burned Child Dies After Household Accident
Elmer Anderson four years old, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Anderson of 69 Patterson Street Sixth Ward, fell into a tub of hot water while his mother prepared it for bathing. He suffered severe scalds and died about ten o'clock that night. Funeral from the family residence Friday at 2 pm with interment in Greenwood cemetery.

Dr. C. H. Dunlap and Mrs. Dunlap of Avalon will sail February 7 for Palestine and the Levant. House Burns in New Wilmington Fire Damages Home
The home of Mrs. Neal in New Wilmington caught fire at 10 o clock Tuesday morning. The blaze started from attempts to thaw frozen water pipes and the dwelling on Market Street beside the Second U P church was damaged about seventy percent of its value but partially insured.
