Death and Funeral of Rev William M Taylor
Rev William M Taylor D D longtime Westfield pastor in Lawrence county dies after nearly 42 years of service. He preached last in September and died after a four month illness with kidney trouble and complications. He traveled extensively for missions and left a large library and a wide circle of friends. He is survived by his second wife Sophy St. Loring and adopted niece. He was laid to rest at Mt Jackson following a large funeral with regional clergy in attendance.

Death of Rev Daniel Moore Noted Clergyman Barber and Leader

George Shallenberger, engineer on the Evie and Fittsboro freight, died at Shenango Valley hospital six days after a wreck near West Middlesex. A Pennsylvania Railroad employee for four years, he served in Puerto Rico with Company B and was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
