President Wilson arrived in London at 2 30 P M and was greeted by a monster crowd. Aeroplanes escorted the royal train as Wilson and Mrs Wilson traveled from Dover to Charing Cross. A 41 gun salute fired from the Tower of London and Hyde Park accompanied the royal departure.
Berlin battles extend through Tuesday and Christmas Day with scores killed. Republican Guards assault the Marstall building while counter revolutionary sailors hold key hq in Koenigstrasse. Fresh reports say deserters join the sailors as radicals push to oust Ebert and Haase.
America’s battle fleet was greeted by vast crowds as ten dreadnoughts sailed into New York Harbor. Fire sparked from chimney ignited stuffed grate material at 107 South Walnut street owned by N F Shaklee. Couch and several Christmas toys were destroyed. Alarm came from box 32. Fire crews responded promptly Tuesday afternoon at five o'clock.

Dr. John M. Jackson of Beaver Falls, formerly Beaver County coroner and son of J. S. Jackson, lost a leg in France two days before the armistice was signed. The call came to Register and Recorder John T. Brinton from his cousin, Dr. Jackson’s relative.
