Old Clen Moore School Story and Red Caboose Link

The first Clen Moore School was built in 1898 at the PennDOT site, burned, rebuilt, and burned again before a third structure arose in 1911. A 1937 WPA project produced handcut stone arches. The 1960s closure led to administrative use, later vacant, then office conversion in the 1970s. A B&O caboose was repurposed into a Pennsylvania car, becoming a local fixture guiding visitors to Dr. Kelly Palumbo’s office.
