Coraldine Arnold a teenage girl plans to sue Oklahoma City citizens committee head Dr Goseord to connect the $15000 reward offered for the capture of outlaw George Machine Can Kelly and his wife Kathryn with federal agents having data. The case stems from claims of providing information that led to the arrest.
News items from Hamilton and Williamsport report a 6 point buck taken near Hampstead by Wolllo Nicholson and a 1 point buck with a 20 inch spread owned by Harry Barnes of 410 East Willace. The Barnes party included his son James and Howard Rogers of Plaingrove and Orvil Chrassman. Deer weighed about 160 pounds and the head is being mounted. The New Castle School Board voted with one dissent to use the Senior High School building on December 16 to examine applicants for state liquor store positions. Dr. O. Green, the superintendent, is named chief examiner and may appoint proctors.
Daniel B. Woolcock was re elected to the presidency of the New Castle School Board at a Monday night organizational meeting. Civil Works Administration plans permanent park improvements in New Castle. Projects include terrace stonework, turreted entrances, widened paths, guard walls near the watercourse, and new walks. Plans also call for baseball, football, mushball, and tennis courts at the park’s upper end, expanding on previous relief efforts.
