Old Time Fiddlers Contest Seeks More Entries At Penn Theatre
The Old Time Fiddlers contest at the Penn Theatre on December 10 needs more entrants. John Reader Wallace has entered with his fiddle, while a letter from an old gentleman who played Turkey in the Straw 72 years ago lacks a signature. Henry Bryson of State street has expressed interest, bringing total entrants to at least four if he confirms. The editor urges many fiddlers from country dances this summer to join and promises a lively night of old time tunes.
