Historic House Tour Details 170 Year Old Wood
The narrative describes a two level home with five rooms downstairs and six upstairs. Visitors from Liberty, Girard and St. Rose schools begin in a room with the original fireplace. Period furnishings were added gradually including a wood stove in the kitchen. A door leads to the porch and a nearby pump. Steep-back stairs were used by hired help and part of the original back wall is visible. Roberta notes the wood is 170 years old.
