Conti Philip P Conti of New Castle has been named vice president finance and treasurer of Equitable Resources in Pittsburgh. A longtime executive, he joined the company in 1996 as assistant treasurer finance and later led planning, development and the Statoil Appalachian gas asset acquisition as well as the merger of Gulf of Mexico exploration into Westport Resources. Conti resides in Wexford with wife Laine and children Leah and Philip. he is the son of Philip and Joan Conti of 310 Euclid Ave. The firm focuses on Appalachian gas production, transmission, distribution and energy management services.
