Nazareth Gas Station Robbed. $4 Stolen
The Pennsylvania Independent Oil Company station at Easton Road and South Main Street Nazareth was robbed Sunday night. Thieves entered by forcing a window onto a greasing pit and escaped with $4 from the cash register. The crime occurred between 11:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. Police officer Nagy and county detectives were notified.

Legion Ladies at Pocono Pines Meet and Install Officers
Thirty delegates from H V Knecht Unit 415 American Legion Auxiliary traveled by bus to Pocono Pines on Saturday with 325 women from four county auxiliaries. Dinner at Sutherland Hotel followed by meeting at Sutherland Casino. Mrs Mildred Fritz of Bangor chosen president for 1935 to lead four counties. Officers installed by Mrs Hazel Ackerman. Speakers Mrs Blanche scheirer Slatington and Mrs Helen Sutton Easton outlined plans for veteran aid, child welfare and junior baseball. The trip was reported pleasant with enjoyment of the scenery.
