Girl Scout Notes and Council Discuss October Plans

The Mothers Auxiliary of the Girl Scouts met at the YMCA with Miss Mary Wunderly in charge after the president was absent. Mary Wunderly to note October troop work and a national quota fee of 10 cents per girl was discussed. The council approved an educational trip to New York City for Troop T and planned observance of National Girl Scout Week October 31 to November 6.

Nazareth All Scholastic Ball Club for 1987 baseball closed its 1937 season with no deficits or outstanding debts. A 1938 club formation was announced with a special December meeting planned. A recent Evangelical Reformed Church service in Belfast drew a large crowd and followed a reciprocal program with Flicksville Church.
