Memorial Services at Zion church in Stone Church area
Memorial services were held at Zion church under the choir led by Russell W. Kern with George W. Geiser of Easton as speaker. Rev. J W Koch presided, Rev. George Kopenhaver read the Scripture and prayed, and names of deceased church members were read as the bell tolled. The procession moved to the cemetery for Sons of Union Veterans services and music by the Catasauqua Legion Band.

Memorial Day Observed in Bath 1928 Parade and Lecture
Memorial Day 1928 was observed with a city parade led by the Old Catasauqua band of 35 musicians. The Lions Club American Legion and other patriotic groups participated. William G Barthold assistant district attorney delivered the day’s oration. The band performed an evening concert and many visitors from out of town joined Bath residents.
Surprise Birthday Party for Mrs Scholl on the Square
Mrs Charles Scholl was honored with a surprise party Saturday evening at her Square home for her birthday anniversary. Among guests were Mr and Mrs Alfred Fatzinger and family Dr and Mrs T W Schwab Mrs William Windt Mr and Mrs David Plotnick and R W Barnstead of town and Mr and Mrs Chancellor Martens of Bethlehem. Three Cars Damaged In Bath Northampton Crash
Three cars were damaged but no injuries occurred on the Bath Northampton road near the Atlas Cement quarry after 3 PM Sunday. Franklin Kocher of Northampton drove through rain, veered into mud, then collided with two oncoming vehicles owned by Blanche Frankenfield Suston and Grace Frankenfield Easton.

Robert Bartholomew died Sunday at his home in Moore Township of a heart attack at age 45. Survived by widow Hannah nee Reese, daughter Mrs Clement Fehr Nazareth, one grandchild, father Andrew, sister Mrs George Deemer Point Phillips Moore Township.
