Joe Elliot of Butler Pa, friend of Rev Helffrich, has gone to Philadelphia for new employment.

Women of Town Conduct World Day of Prayer Service
The World Day of Prayer service was held Friday evening at St. John's Lutheran Church in Bath. Mrs. Catherine Scholl led with assistance from Mrs. Howard Jones and Mrs. John Sleeman of the Reformed and Presbyterian churches. Readings and prayers were offered by multiple members from the Lutheran Presbyterian and Reformed churches, with Miss Anne Cole and Miss Marion McIlhaney singing solos and the Junior Choir chanting the Lord's Prayer. The presentation of projects was by Mrs. Frank Hardin and Mrs. W. A. Helfrich, and the attendance was large.

Bartholomew D D longtime general secretary of the Board of Foreign Missions was read. The program featured life records, tributes from co workers and church figures, hymns, and a closing address with a collection of 25 dollars.
