Former Nazareth Woman Found Dead In Bradford Hotel
Dorothea Grill, 38, registered at Emery Hotel Monday afternoon and was found dead in her room Tuesday. A bottle of cyanide and a Coca Cola bottle were found with her. investigators deem suicide. She had lived on Mechanic Street and was married to Thomas Grill, now separated, with a divorce finalized that May. Her father Frank Smith and several siblings survive. Police and a coroner examined the room. no messages were left.

Lighting signal upgrades at twenty grade crossings in Pa
The Public Service Commission reports about fifty thousand dollars spent in Pennsylvania during the first half of 1934 to install flashing light signals at twenty steam railroad grade crossings. Seven installations were funded by State highways, seven at rural/state roads, six at railroads alone, with eighteen signal modernizations and eight more authorized. The commission also issued maintenance rules after a power failure incident and reminds motorists to stop when lights flash.
