Mr Fisher of the Freddie Lee travels to Tacoma to manage a gold property for a Tacoma syndicate and will not return to West Kootenay before next summer. The Freddie Lee is leased to John Fitzwilliam and the company has ceased operating. Fisher estimates about 140 men at work and an output of no less than 900 tons monthly through July, with potential increases if silver improves or transport improves. A Nakusp and Slocan Railway will move ore to Nakusp. A Mystic Circle Club meeting elected officers and issued a 25 percent stock call to fund refreshments for the boys, with hopes of quick member response as cooling weather approaches.
