The Nakusp and Slocan Railway described as four miles long with a final cost of one million dollars. Grading to Slocan Lake due by November and to Three Forks by December. Eight hundred to one thousand workers, 27 car loads of steel rails from Revelstoke, and construction of Nakusp depot and roundhouse planned with winter operation beyond. Arrow Lake line to deliver 14 miles by next month, ensuring winter communication. steamers to reserve dock space and port facilities forthcoming.
